Weber GBS Sear Grate Insert - Cast Iron

The Weber GBS, Gourmet Barbecuing System, is Weber's way of enabling you to make the most of the cooking opportunities made available by any Weber barbecue with a GBS Cooking Grate.

Simply remove the 30 cm central section of the GBS cooking grate and replace with the chosen grate from the Weber GBS range - wok, sear grate, griddle, pizza stone, dutch oven, waffle iron or poultry roaster – to widely enhance the capabilities of your barbecue.

This Original GBS Sear Grate is porcelain-enamelled cast iron and is coated so that it is non-stick and easy to clean when it's simple care instructions are followed. The sear grate is ideal for cooking large pieces of meat, such as steaks or pork chops, as it provides professional style sear markings whilst sealing in the food’s moisture and flavour.
